A tribute to Texas — kicked off a 40-day documentary project alongside United Arab Emirates to capture Hattem mattar, Middle East’s first Arab pitmaster who learned BBQ in Texas.
Our time together was nothing short of exhilarating and heartfelt, sharing meals and exchanging stories with strangers who have quickly become our extended family.
From cowboys to corn combines, our days were stacked with cultural and culinary adventures. my role was to film and photograph the different environments, people and food that were experienced on this trip.
